Where The Wild Things Are, with Dave Eggers
AMC Loews Boston Common
Much of the best of Hollywood
these days is springing from the works of children's writers, like Maurice
Sendak, whose classic Where the Wild
Things Are has been adapted by child-like director Spike Jonze and screenwriter
and famed grown-up author Dave Eggers.
The film is due to open October 16, but you can catch it tonight at a preview
screening that's also a benefit for Eggers's children's-literacy-promoting
charity 826 Boston.
After the film, stick around for a Q&A with, yes, Eggers himself. It'll be at
the AMC Loews Boston Common, 175
Tremont St, Boston
