Attend this horror showcase: J. Cannibal's Feast of Flesh XI @ the Coolidge
No
one puts on a showcase of the macabre like J.
Cannibal,
the cult impresario, who works as an undertaker when he isn't busy being a
zombie connoisseur. In tonight's FEAST OF FLESH XI he outdoes himself, with music from
local metalcore band Acaro, bumps and grinds from
horror/stripper ensemble Black Cat Burlesque, and a screening of Demons (1985). Written and produced by the legendary
Dario Argento and directed by Lamberto Bava, Demons tells the story of patrons at a movie theater--much like the one you will be watching the movie in!--who are beset by the title fiends. (Prizes for best zombie get-up!) That's at the Coolidge
Corner Theatre, 290 Harvard St, Brookline | Saturday, October 1 @ midnight | $10 | coolidge.org
