Lee & Baker Shine In Prelims

Suzanne Lee didn't just make it to the November final, she finished first in yesterday's District 2 preliminary, 150 votes ahead of incumbent Bill Linehan. This defied my erroneous Ask Me Anything Day prediction of a Linehan-Ferrara finish, but maybe it was all because I swayed the voters with last week's blog post about her. (No, maybe not.)

I also misjudged the open District 3 race, where instead of O'Toole-Galvin it was Savin Hill's Frank Baker followed by John O'Toole.

I did at least get District 7 right, with incumbent Tito Jackson putting up a huge number, and Sheneal Parker taking the second slot on November's ballot.

I will post later with some observations and analysis about yesterday's vote, but for now congratulations to the winners, and good luck on what promises to be a terrific campaign going forward.
